It was a great workshop, combining learning new basic techniques in character design with a cosy and inspiring space to share your drawings. The short exercises were great to apply the new tools gained and it also made it easier to focus on only the key components, because you wouldn't have time for polished drawings anyway.
I liked the teaching style very much with lots of examples and thorough personal feedback on drawings.
Other feedback would be that it worked surprisingly well with Zoom, and especially the showing exercises part would have been more tricky without video.

Nice that you gave so much feedback after classes. I think it was a good balance with just key points of feedback during class to keep the flow and make sure we had time to cover more topics. I really liked the shape exercise, that was new and so fun and inspiring.

Thanks for a great course, Anne. The lessons were a lot of fun, it was great to explore my characters more and see other peoples work as well.
I personally got a bit of a confidence boost regarding just drawing my characters and not worrying too much about it being clean right away. The shapes theory helped a lot and made my characters way easier to draw :))

I definitely feel more confident in drawing expressive characters in fun poses, overall I had a great time
(and I’m still doing some of the exercises just because ;))

Jeg har altid sagt, at jeg hverken kan tegne eller male, og tænkte nu måtte jeg prøve det af. Jeg var spændt på at møde de andre kursister, og hvad dagen ville bringe.
Det viste sig at en helt fantastisk dag, som jeg fik rigtig meget ud af, sammen med de sødeste mennesker.
Anne var rigtig god til at lære fra sig og give råd og vejledning, jeg fik nogle gode teorier med omkring opbygningen af det motiv, jeg ville male. Hvordan man kan bruge gouache maling, om de forskellige farver, blandinger m.m. Så tak for en dejlig dag med brugbar undervisning, lækker forplejning.
Jeg drog glad og stolt hjem med mit maleri, jeg er så klar til at male mange flere. Håber der kommer flere workshops, så skal jeg med.

Anne var som underviser rigtig god til at forklare deltagerne, hvad de skulle lave, både med ord og tegninger. Hun var lydhør og i øjenhøjde, og tog alle spørgsmål alvorligt. Hun gik rundt blandt deltagerne, snakkede med dem og gav ekstra inputs til det, de sad og tegnede på. Anne er derudover en meget smilende og glad person, hvilket gør, at deltagerne hurtigt føler sig godt tilpas.
