Hello and welcome to my little corner of the internet.

I am Anne Hoberg, a Danish Illustrator, Art Teacher/Mentor, and Storyteller.
I have a great love for Danish hygge, imagination, nature, personal growth, and spreading happiness and sunshine.

My illustration work has a strong focus on characters, storytelling, atmosphere, acting, colours, and design.

It includes Children’s Book Illustration, Character Design, Teaching Materials, Visual Development and Original Artwork.

I have a Bachelor of Arts in Character Animation from The Animation Workshop in Denmark, from where I learned about storytelling, honing my craft, and getting to know myself even better as an artist.

After I graduated I found that illustration was my true calling, and was so lucky to be hired to work as a full-time in-house illustrator for 3 years for an online platform that develops teaching materials for grade school.

After those 3 years of working for someone else, I wanted to follow my dream of being self-employed. I now have my own company Anne Hoberg Illustration where I do freelance illustration for publishers, animation studios, and companies, while at the same time, creating art for my webshop, as well as online workshops, and courses.
I am proficient in many media and can also adapt my vibrant and fun art style when needed.

I am also an experienced teacher, and offer workshops in illustration, colours, drawing for animation, and character design (among other things).
My latest passion is to pass on all of the knowledge I have gathered throughout the years of being self-employed and therefore I also offer One-On-One Art Mentoring for artists and creatives who want to expand their businesses or creative selves.

Lastly, I also write my own stories and hope to one day be a published author, as well as an illustrator.

My mission with all of my work, whether it be illustration, teaching, or mentoring, is to bring happiness, sunshine, solidarity, and inclusivity to others.
I love being able to bring all of this to the world by doing what I love.
